MINI compact car to unveiling at Detroit Auto Show

MINI could be debut its new MINI compact at the upcoming North American International Auto Show in Detroit next month, as development for the model comes nearer to production. Rumour has it will be described the new MINI Minor.

The new variant will be a strict two seater and is said to be smaller than the present MINI Cooper in every way. It’s unidentified what platform the new car will use, or whether it will be one shared with an upcoming BMW model. But it appears like we might discover out next month. Wolfgang Armbrecht, MINI brand chief, said in a latest report.

“We have always been provoked by the thought to construct a small spacious car”, hinting, “Keep a close eye on the upcoming months.”

It’s no furtive that MINI has wanted to enlarge its range to more than one model for some time currently. Not only is there over 10 unlike variations of the standard MINI Cooper, we’ve also observe the introduction of the Clubman and Countryman, including the Cabrio soft top version, in the last few years. A slighter, even more compact car would fall in underside all these models and be the new entry-level MINI.

The new car will rival the resembling of the Smart ForTwo. We can’t stay to see just how small this new car will appear officially. We’ll be sure to give any previews prior to the show, to begin January 10.
