Geely to launch 3 new car models to Russia in 2011

China Knowledge reported that Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, one of China leading auto producers will bring in three new models that is an urban crossover, a D-Class saloon and a compact hatchback of B-class to Russia next year.

The Chinese car maker will primarily exported the three new models to Russia and then assemble them at the Russian automaker Derways plant where Geely produced its MK model earlier.

According to data unconfined by Russia EBA Geely saw its sales in the Russian market dropped 79% in the first ten months of this year to 1,459 vehicles as the automaker sold only 13 vehicles in July.

Geely the new owner of Volvo Car Corp also tactics to set up a sales company in Russia with effort to enlarge its sales in the country. It sent a delegation to negotiate the substance with Derways in August.
