This $2,500 car has caught attention of the entire world and has put the Indian automobile industry on the world map with its pioneering features and ultra low price tag.

Named after the famous inventor Thomas Alva Edison, Edison awards are known to identify the persistence and excellence Thomas Edison himself personified.

The awards are presented annually and are linked with some very big names such as Discovery channel, The Nielson company, Strategyn and Google.
