The technical director of Australia's first electric car trial commenced in Perth this morning says they will be the largest revolution in the automotive industry.
The University of Western Australia and the State Government have launched a two year trial with 10 electric cars to be utilized by the Government and business sector.
The trial will monitor the concert of the new vehicle and gauge the technology's capacity and limitations.
Professor Thomas Braunl from the University of Western Australia says over time, more Australians will translate to electric cars.
It's very hard to forecast what's going to happen in 10 and 20 years but it's quite likely that you have a important percentage of all cars being electric in let's say 20 years.
