Honda will reveal the next-generation Civic at the 2011 North American International Auto Show in January. For now, the automaker is teasing the ninth-generation 2012 Civic with the illustration, above, with more information to be revealed next month.
Honda has been emotion competitive pressure from the most modern and upcoming models from Chevrolet, Ford, Hyundai, Toyota, and Volkswagen in the small-car segment. The company has reportedly extended product development to enhanced strike the balance of affordability and packaging, and we are eager to see where the admired model is going.
The current Civic remains a well-rounded vehicle, with good fuel economy, fit and finish, crash-test results, and reliability. But competition is receiving tougher. One thing is for sure, the redesign will observe stability control presented on all models, a shortcoming of the current car.
The new Civic will go on auction in spring 2011.
