2011 Ford Explorer Interceptor and the criminals have no flee

In March, the Americans were offering the new Ford Taurus Interceptor, as one of the US Police cars. Not it seems that the new Ford Explorer 2011 will ride next to it, prepared to catch any thief, robber or anyone annoying to brake the law.

The 2011 Ford Explorer Interceptor, will most probable start applying the law on the streets in 2012, and will be based on an Explorer of only 3.5-liter Ti-VCT which comes with 280 HP. But, as we recognize, the Police cars get some tuning and enhancements, so is predictable that the power of the car to easily go past 300 HP.

The Ford AdvanceTrac Roll Stabilty Cotrol system will come as normal on all Interceptor models, but not the Terrain Management system, since it will typically be used on tarmac. The car will have all-wheel drive, and an improved braking system, unlike from the standard one, a stiffer suspension and 18 inches steel (not light alloy) rims.

Inside the car, new seats were mounted, and the gear shifter was moved to be able to create some room for the electronic equipment and the computer. The space between the seats was widening a little, to be able to robust the gear, but also the two shot-guns and an M16. The rear seats is estranged from the front seats, so the criminals to be isolated. But even so, the rear seats have individual AC, which is admirable for the K9 buddies.

Other modifications of the police car are the commands on the steering wheel, which can be programmed, to create the acoustic or light warning signals.

But the new police car was not launched even in the production version, so this Interceptor will begin doing its job a year from now. So, let’s broken some robbers!
